Welcome to the golden age of Italian movie soundtracks 🇮🇹 🎥 🎶

The 1960s were a remarkable period for Italian cinema, often referred to as the “Golden Age” or “New Wave” of Italian filmmaking. During this time, Italian cinema experienced a surge in creativity and innovation, with directors like Federico Fellini, Michelangelo Antonioni, Luchino Visconti, and Sergio Leone gaining international acclaim for their distinctive styles.

Cinecitta served as a home for films across all genres. It all started by the arrival of Federico Fellini’s “La Dolce Vita”. But it was best known for the Spaghetti Westerns of Sergio Leone, with scores composed by Morricone. Over time, many of Italy’s other pre-eminent film composers began working in the genre, crafting increasingly wild, reverb-drenched soundtracks.

Variety genres from Spaghetti Westerns, all’italiana, Erotic Films, Surrealism & Art Cinema, Historical Epic, B-Movies, Hoist, etc. and their soundtracks spanned everything from vale sounds, bossd lova to turk, wrodk lounge music, wild exotica, and psychedelic electronic music.
